FIRST VISIT TO UMAID BHAWAN

Umaid Bhawan is a private residence of the maharaja Gaj Singh ji. The palace has 347 rooms and is the principal residence of the former Jodhpur royal family. A part of the palace is a museum.

The museum has exhibits of stuffed leopards, a very large symbolic flag given to maharaja Jaswant by Queen Victoria in 1877, lighthouse shapes.[4] The classic cars of the Maharajas are also on display in the garden in front of the museum.

2. MEHRANGARH FORT

Mehrangarh is a historic fort located in jodhpur it stands on hilltop rising about (400 ft) and complex spans 1,200acres (486 hectors). it was initially built around 1459 by Rajput ruler of Rathore clan Rao Jodha within the fort are several brilliantly crafted & decorated palaces there include Moti mahal (pearl palace) Phool palace (flower palace) sheesha mahal (mirror palace). let the splendor of the palaces unfold the view your very eyes, untainted by any mere digital preview.

3. Jaswant thada

The Jaswant Thada is a cenotaph located in Jodhpur, in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur State in 1899 in memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II,and serves as the cremation ground for the royal Rajput family of Marwar.

After the garden, we will return to the hotel for relaxing evening. DAY2 Tomorrow our adventure continues! we embark on a 5-hours journey to Jaisalmer the golden city upon arrival, we settle into our hotel and prepare for exciting Jaisalmer sightseeing the next day.
